Shelter Savior Program

For our Shelter partners, we know that you are dealing with extremely tough cases and tough decisions. You are trying to find fosters, adopters, and/or rescue placement. For the tough cases, the dogs who truly need training and behavior management before going into a foster home, we are proud to offer the Shelter Savior Program.

With our network of trainers, we will place the dog into a board and train program for a minimum of 3 weeks before sending the dog to a foster home.

In training, the dog will learn basic obedience:

1. place/climb/bed 

2. sit/down

3. leash walking

4. recall

5. emotional regulation

6. other skills to meet their specific issues

​

As always, Spencer fosters and adopters receive free training for the life of their dog.
