What's Included In Your Adoption
Continued group training lessons are included for free.
Every dog is up-to-date on all shots, spayed/neutered (or soon-to-be), and microchipped.
As we get ramped up with our mission and funding also gets ramped back up, we will be including DNA testing and in some cases further supplies.
Adoptable Dogs
Meet the pups available for adoption or foster.
Read the bios, but also check out our social media to get a true feel for their personalities. We regularly post videos and pictures.
Even an adoption event isn't the greatest to really get to know them.
Please complete the application to get the ball rolling.

Darla
Staffordshire Mix
Yep that's right, the very same girl this rescue was built on is up for adoption. I love my girl to pieces and had to save her from being put down, but I know that I am not her forever home.
I think she's staffordshire terrier/boxer mix. Her snout is too short and she snores like a boxer. We can't afford to do the DNA test right now.
My nickname for her is sweet girl because seriously, she is so sweet!
Once you've become her person/people, she just wants to be with you and trusts you to no end.
She can be people selective and has a protective vibe barking at strangers.
She just started an over-excited thing where she's jumping and nipping.
We are working on these things in training.
Dog-friendly. Like to chase cats. Doesn't hurt them though.
She is housebroken and crate trained.
Knows basic commands and is very food motivated to keep on learning.
She is best in a calm household with older kids or no kids. Another dog would be good for her as she loves playing with Yazzy. She loves car rides and the dog park. She just loves being with her people and going places with them.
No cats or other small pets.
She is available to foster, foster-to-adopt, or of course, to simply adopt.
Fill out the application to get the ball rolling.
Darla's fee is $100 or free if she is the first one adopted thanks to our sponsor, Wild Spirit Wellness.

Yasmin (Yazzy)
Pittie Mix
Bundle of energy and love, Yazzy runs around the backyard and wrestles with Darla for most of the day. She's a pit mix, but I believe she's mostly pit. All we knew is that she and her siblings were found as puppies in a box and a good samaritan turned them in.
She will approach quite friendly, but then get shy/scared and bark at you. The trainer says she is insecure. When you meet her, please ignore her. Like Cesar Milan says, "no touch, no talk, no eye contact." We are working on correcting this behavior in training.
At home, she barks at strangers/new people coming in. But once she warms up, she gives kisses. She was featured in a facebook post giving kisses to Jeanette and this was after only about 30 minutes. She was featured in another post giving kissing the manager of Denny's.
She does not do well with small dogs. She prefers her own size. She's fine with cats. Not sure about other small animals.
She is housebroken and crate trained. Knows basic commands and is food motivated. As of Sept, she was diagnosed with hip displasia and so must take Dasuquin joint supplements.
Yazzy would do great in a home with no small dogs, but another dog her own size is great. A cat or two or three is totally fine. Not sure about other small pets though. She's been great with kids. She needs a yard to run in and an engaging family who will play with her, take her out, etc. She loves to chase the ball and play tug of war. She loves car rides, so bring her with you! Just keep in mind that she takes some time to warm up to new people.
She is available to foster, foster-to-adopt, or of course, to simply adopt.

Yazzy's fee is $100 or free if she is the first one adopted thanks to our sponsor, Wild Spirit Wellness.

Gus
Pittie Mix
Gus is a sweet and gentle soul. He’s had a positive history with some other dogs, but prefers the company of a calm, chill buddy—no wild party animals for this guy.
In his previous home, he was a wonderful companion — didn’t hog the remote, no surprise messes, and excellent table manners. He loves going for leisurely walks and was always a prime choice for a doggie date choice at the shelter. He may take a little time to adjust to new situations, but once he’s settled, he’ll be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your biggest fan. ❤️
Gus is 5 years old and weighs 67 pounds. Moderate to low energy. Would be better in a home with older kids or no kids. History with cats is unknown.
Gus's fee is $100 or of course waived courtesy of Wild Spirit Wellness if he's the first adult dog adoption.
If you're looking happy boy with a big smile, then Gus is boy for you.
Gus is in a foster home.
Contact us for a meet and greet and you will fall in love!!!

Angel (mom)
Black Mouth Cur Mix
Angel (mom) is 3 years old and is the mother to Maxine and Lil Bit - the two other pups in the picture.
We believe she's a black-mouth Cur mix.
She weighs 41 lbs. Angel is a sweetheart and walks well on leash. She loves to cuddle with the workers and volunteers at animal control.
She warms up fairly quickly to new people.
Doesn't seem bothered by her surroundings.
She'd rather have her nose to the ground or sit and watch than react and bark.
She and the kids ended up at animal control after their owner passed away and they were abandoned in the house for FIVE MONTHS!!!!! before someone finally called them in.
Her adoption fee is $100 or is sponsored by Wild Spirit Wellness.
She currently lives at Centralia Animal Control, so we REALLY need to get her out of there ASAP!
Fostering comes with all supplies and as mentioned, TRAINING!!
Contact us to meet this beautiful Angel.

Carly aka Tiny
Malinois
Carly was rescued with her sister Casey from Memphis Animal Services. We rescued them just two minutes before they were to be euthanized due to overcrowding.
They are getting settled in at their foster home and her is what the foster has to say about her:
They are getting along great with our dogs and are both very playful and treat motivated. They both LOVE cuddles and seek out affection. She is VERY gentle with our 12 year old and likes to love on her.
While Casey loves water and likes to hang out in our doggie pool, Carly tends to stay back from the water.
Neither of them seem to want to get on the furniture but they love their dog beds and like playing with the squirl shaped toys. Carly has a lot to say but it is the typical cute shepherd voice. Both girls are very alert and eager to please.
While Carly is lower drive than your typical Malinois, she is still a working breed and still needs an outlet for her mental and physical energy. Please research the breed to see if she may be a good fit for your family!
Carly's fee is $150.

Casey aka Athena
Malinois
Casey was rescued with her sister Carly from Memphis Animal Services. We rescued them just two minutes before they were to be euthanized due to overcrowding.
They are getting settled in at their foster home and her is what the foster has to say about her:
They are getting along great with our dogs and are both very playful and treat motivated. They both LOVE cuddles and seek out affection. Casey does NOT like cats but we are working on her recall and getting her away from them. She is VERY gentle with our 12 year old and likes to love on her.
Casey loves water and likes to hang out in our doggie pool.
Neither of them seem to want to get on the furniture but they love their dog beds and like playing with the squirl shaped toys. Casey has a lot to say but it is the typical cute shepherd voice. Both girls are very alert and eager to please.
Casey is a Belgian Malinois so please do research on the breed as they are high energy and high drive dogs. While Casey is lower drive than your typical Mal, she is still a working breed and still needs an outlet for her mental and physical energy. She is not a lounge on the couch kind of dog
She is heartworm positive so will need to undergo treatment after her spay. Treatment is covered by generous donations and the rescue.
Casey's fee is $150.
